1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using QReview ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
QReview is operated by Issaac Hughes, a sole trader registered in Queensland, Australia. Contact: legal@qreviewit.app
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use QReview
- By creating an account you confirm you meet these age requirements
3. Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account
- You may not create accounts for other people without their consent
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- One account per person — multiple accounts to evade bans are not permitted
4. Content Rules — What You May Post
✅ Allowed
- Honest opinions and reviews based on genuine experience
- Constructive criticism
- Satire and humour that is clearly not factual
- Business reviews, product reviews, place reviews
- Reviews of public figures in their public capacity
❌ Not Allowed — Zero Tolerance
- Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse of any individual
- Hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or nationality
- Any sexual content involving minors — this will result in immediate account termination and reporting to authorities
- Defamatory statements presented as fact
- Doxxing — sharing private personal information without consent
- Fake reviews designed to harm a business or person's reputation
- Spam or commercially motivated fake reviews
- Content that incites violence or illegal activity
5. Reviews of People
QReview allows listings for real people. By creating a personal listing or reviewing someone, you agree that:
- You will only post content that is truthful or clearly satirical
- You accept personal legal responsibility for defamatory content you post
- You will not post reviews designed to harm someone's reputation without factual basis
- You understand that Australian defamation law applies to content posted on QReview
- Any person may request removal of a listing about themselves — we will action this within 14 days
6. Intellectual Property
- QReview owns all rights to the app, its design, and its technology
- You retain ownership of content you create
- By posting content, you grant QReview a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and moderate that content within the app
- You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute any part of the QReview app
7. Subscriptions & Payments
- QReview offers paid subscription plans (Standard, Business Starter, Enterprise)
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
- Refunds are subject to Apple/Google refund policies
- We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice
- Downgrading your plan may result in reduced access to features
8. QR Codes & Business Features
- QR codes generated by QReview are for use within the QReview platform only
- Businesses using QReview for staff management accept responsibility for ensuring employee consent
- Employee work reviews are subject to the same content rules as all other reviews
- QR resumes (portable work ratings) are provided as-is — we make no guarantees about their use by employers
9. Moderation & Enforcement
We reserve the right to:
- Remove any content that violates these Terms at our sole discretion
- Suspend or permanently ban accounts for violations
- Report illegal content to relevant authorities
- Cooperate with law enforcement investigations

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
QReview is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of user-generated reviews
- We are not liable for any defamatory content posted by users — the poster bears legal responsibility
- We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the app
- Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Queensland, Australia.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified in-app. Continued use of QReview after changes constitutes acceptance.
